     Parker C. Johnston is a 1985 graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. While a student at Auburn, Mr. Johnston served as president of Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society, and as scholarship chairman for FarmHouse fraternity.

     In 1988, Mr. Johnston earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he was selected as a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, was recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of evidence, and served as vice-chairman of The Federalis Society.

     Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Johnston was appointed as the first law clerk in the State of Alabama Nineteenth Judicial Circuit (Elmore, Autauga, and Chilton counties). He is a former law partner of Elmore County Circuit Court Judge Patrick D. Pinkston (active) and of Elmore County Probate Judge John E. Enslen (retired).

     Mr. Johnston was a founding member of the law firm of Johnston & Daniel, Attorneys at Law, LLC, with Gerald A. Daniel, Jr. (USAF retired) and is “of counsel” with the law firm of Luther, Collier, Cash and Hodges, P.C., in Mobile, Alabama. He is currently employed as a partner and general counsel for Clear Capital, LLC, a mergers and acquisitions firm based in Orange Beach, Alabama.

     Mr. Johnston has served as president of the Elmore County Bar Association and is a former member of the American Inns of Court. He is a member of the Elmore County Bar Association and the Baldwin County Bar Association.

     Mr. Johnston was employed as an adjunct professor of law at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University beginning the winter semester of 2012 and continuously through the summer semester 2013, teaching an upperclassman course, “Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiation” (student references available). He has frequently taught seminars on numerous legal topics, particularly those related to estate matters and the concerns of small businesses. He has been a regular speaker and mentor for the Young Entrepreneur’s Academy at Foley High School.
